Alex 2008Our Founding Spiritual Director is Reverend Alex Escudero, who was ordained by Centers for Spiritual Living in 2013. She has been a licensed New Thought Practitioner since 1999 and has lived in DC and the DC area for most of her life. Reverend Alex is also a member of the Leadership Council. Joshua Payne is a licensed Spiritual Coach, or Practitioner, for the Center. He can be reached at
Deletta Gillespie is our Music Consultant. She performs regularly in the DMV with several bands. She uses her talents to not only entertain, but to create awareness about causes close to her heart. She has toured as a sound healing artist with the Monument Quilt, a traveling art display that provides a public healing space for survivors of sexual and domestic violence. She also performs in ICU's and at nursing homes and assisted living facilities as a therapeutic musician. Deletta is a published author and an adjunct professor teaching history, performance and performance theory courses.

Mary S. D’Amato serves on the Center's Leadership Council. She is an International Strategic Leader/Organizational Development Executive with over 20 years’ experience as a strategic business partner in the areas of executive and performance-based coaching, learning and development, talent management, organizational development, and change management. She excels in team interventions and team building as well as conflict resolution. For over 20 years she was a member of a sister Center for Spiritual Living in St. Louis.
